Deciding on a vacation is usually a really personal, subjective view. Some people may choose to spend the time in the rolling hills and tough coastline of Devon; some people may like the Highlands of Scotland. The usual wish for a vacation nevertheless usually remains the same. People today want relaxation, occasionally adventure, fun, a change from their everyday routine lifestyles.
Today in this technologically superior world, a lot of travellers want to distant destinations for example the Vietnam, Maldives, Thailand, and Bermuda. Journey can improve both mind and spirit once we learn and go through the way of living through the eyes of local residents.
For people who don’t want to journey to these exotic locations, but want a difference of landscapes from the Great Britain everyone knows so well, Europe can create a really fascinating and satisfying vacation. Through the northern areas of Scandinavia, with its gorgeous country side and clean air, to the hotter temperatures of Spain and France, every country is so different and has a lot to provide the traveler.
Spain is actually now popular for the sunshine and ‘Benidorm’ kind environment. Journeying into the interior of Spain can reveal several wonderful landscapes and villages that have remained unchanged for many of the last century.

Therefore a vacation in Spain doesn’t always suggest a sunburnt cabaret evening after a plate of chips and egg and five pints of ‘Watneys Red Barrel’. Spain retains an abundance of culture and it has an amazing history that oozes from the buildings and language.

France is and has always been a popular vacation place to go for the British visitor. The weather conditions may be most pleasant especially in the southern places, and the relaxing easy going pace of country side existence can attract many searching for natural pleasures, not forgetting the necessary sampling of the regions large number of wines and also the French passion of gastronomy.

An especially attractive place is in the South West of France recognised as Dordogne, many English people find this one of the extremely wonderful places. It’s popular for its manufacture of Foie Gras, and the place is full of truffles (a world class delicacy) and walnuts. Summer time months are usually hot and long which provides lots of time at night for those wanting to enjoy a barbeque, or evening meal by the pool.

Life seems to move in a significantly slower pace than in the united kingdom, which naturally is ideal for a vacation. This specific area has numerous lakes, and is a significant much-loved with people that love fishing, whilst many choose to walk from the landscapes or discover the a lot of charming villages on market day.

If you come to the Cote d’Azur, do not miss out Villefranche sur mer! There are more famous places at the Cote d’Azur, but this village is the most beautiful and charming. Leave Nizza on the coast road, 5 mins. drive!
I always save money by tnaikg my own food. I make sure I stay in a hotel that has a mini fridge and microwave and a free breakfast. Then at home before the trip (days earlier) I will set up a menu with snacks excluding breakfast. I will cook the meals and freeze them. Then when we get to the hotel we can still have our home cooked meals with out spending money. You can wash out the reusable containers and stack them inside one another. Not waste and no products in the land fill. Also we take our own water bottles that we can refill. I always buy a gallon jug from the store to re-fill the water bottles. (sometimes water in other places smell or taste bad)
I am looking for some reeinmcmdatoons on places to vacation in the Caribbean. I know there are a ton of islands to choose from but I would like some reeinmcmdatoons from people that have been there. I am looking for the following:1. Nice beaches that aren’t too crowded (will be going in June of this year)2. A place that offers other activities besides hanging out at the beach. (i.e. hiking, biking, cultural activities)3. Something that is geared more towards couples.I have looked at Aruba, St. Lucia and Barbados. Aruba seems a little too resort’ oriented but the beaches look really nice along with the turquoise water. I am also pondering Belize and wonder if anyone has been there. If you have any hotel reeinmcmdatoons that would be appreciated too. I am thinking about All-Inclusive but have heard some bad things about that. I like the fact that the drinks are included but I don’t like the fact that we would be limited to eating at specific places. Thanks!
We plan our vacations tyalcpily for the time period after Spring Break but before Summer Break OR rgiht after the kids return to school but before the Fall Break. This makes it easier to travel as the lines and traffic are not crazy, the weather fits in that it still feels like summer (though not too hot or too cold). But the best thing is, the airline rates tend to be at their lowest. They jack up prices when everyone travels. We have done this for Cape Cod visits as well as Hawaii and it has always been the most economical, the beaches were more secluded, and traffic considerably less heavy. It’s worthwhile to take your kids out of school if needful as you’ll have a fuller vacation than to compete with all the children and college party crowds.
